Our story begins with a legacy — a sourdough starter that’s been lovingly nurtured and passed down through generations. It started with my grandfather, whose passion for baking lives on in every loaf we make today. That same starter, nearly 150 years old, still gives life to our sourdough — connecting our family’s past to every bake we share now.
My own journey with sourdough began when I discovered how industrial additives and commercial yeast had changed what bread was meant to be — simple, natural, and alive. That realization sparked a deep curiosity to return to the roots of real sourdough baking. What began as a small experiment at home quickly turned into a calling. Using that same heirloom starter, we began baking for ourselves, then for friends, and eventually for our community.
In 2025, we proudly joined the Georgetown 2nd Saturday Market Days, sharing our sourdough creations face-to-face with our neighbors for the first time. It was a true honor to meet the people who enjoy what we bake and to become part of such a warm, local community.
That’s how Dough’n Roll came to life — born from tradition, care, and a belief that sourdough should nourish both body and soul.
We never use industrial yeast — every product we make is naturally leavened, slow-fermented, and hand-crafted with patience and heart.
Each loaf continues our story — honest sourdough, made the old way, for the joy of sharing something real.
